DAVID SCHEIDERER, CCA

Founder and Principal

Dave Scheiderer founded Integrated Ag Services in February 1990 to provide unbiased agronomy advice to growers. Dave graduated from ATI in 1980 with an Associate Degree in Agronomy. He and his brother started farming part-time in 1986. They farm row crops and wheat on approximately 1,200 acres. In 2000, he went back to school and completed a bachelor's degree in agronomy in 2004. In 2001, Dave helped IAS take on the role of managing a small buying group, Champaign Premium Grain Growers LLC, which continues to be managed today. CPGG has grown to over 80,000 acres.

As he approaches retirement, Dave is becoming more of a mentor and moving away from leadership roles. He enjoys mentoring Integrated Ag Services staff and developing innovative agronomic practices and tools that can help IAS and its clients improve their profitability and long-term environmental sustainability.

Dave says, “36 years have gone by fast. I still wake up every morning looking forward to the challenges ahead. As I move toward retirement, I hope to watch others develop their skills and enjoy their passion for agriculture.”
