Dave Scheiderer

Dave Scheiderer, Owner

Dave grew up near Marysville, Ohio, surrounded by crop and livestock agriculture.

For as long as Dave can remember, farming and agriculture have been a part of his life. It was no surprise to friends and family when he decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business from The Ohio State University.

Dave has worked in the ag production business for 35 years. In 1990, he started Integrated Ag Services with his wife, Zita, and is grateful that IAS is still going strong 26 years later.

He enjoys the challenge of trying new things and then seeing the results of each crop year, seeing what has worked and what hasn’t. He is also a partner with his brother, Gary, in a corn and soybean crop farming operation, which allows him to test all of his crazy ideas.

He has been married for almost 27 years; he and Zita have three adult daughters, two son-in-laws, and their first granddaughter on the way.

In his spare time, Dave loves to be with his family and occasionally golf.

Dave was named the 2015 Precision Ag Crop Adviser/Entrepreneur award winner by the PrecisionAg Institute through its annual PrecisionAg Awards of Excellence. The international recognition is presented to one individual or team who have established a demonstrable expertise in precision technologies and practices by devising a new tool/concept/procedure, or who have used their expertise to the benefit of their grower-customers.

Grant Davis

Grant Davis, Agronomic Consultant

Grant grew up in rural Miami County between the small towns of Casstown and Christiansburg, where he still lives today. With both sides of his family involved in crop and livestock farming, Grant was exposed to farming at an early age. This experience made it an easy decision for him to pursue working in the agriculture industry.

Grant received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education in 2006 from The Ohio State University, where he also met his wife, Stephanie.

He started his career in agriculture with Bambauer Fertilizer & Seed, and then spent four years with Monsanto on the corn research team in western Ohio.

In early 2012, Grant joined Integrated Ag Services as an agronomic consultant. He enjoys the seasonality that agriculture brings, and, as a result, being able to do something different every day.

Grant also enjoys working with Stephanie on their own farming operation, through which they raise beef cattle and grow grain crops. He is active with the Ohio Farm Bureau and serves on the Miami County board of trustees.

Cory and Stephanie have been married for eight years and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Brynn, into the world in April of 2015. Grant spends his free time with his growing family, working on the farm or on various improvement projects. He also enjoys outdoor recreation like hunting and shooting, and spends most weekends in the fall cheering on the Buckeyes and Bengals.

Evan Delk

Evan Delk, Agronomic Consultant

Evan grew up in South Charleston, Ohio, surrounded by many family farms and close friends. He was heavily involved in 4-H and FFA projects, including showing hogs and beef cattle.

When growing up, if someone asked him what he wanted to do, he always replied that he wanted to be a farmer. Evan worked on family-owned/operated farms for eight years, during which time he learned to drive tractors, trucks and semis.

Evan studied agricultural business at Clark State Community College and began his internship at Integrated Ag Services. Upon graduating in 2010 with an associate’s degree in Agricultural Business, he was hired full time to run the soil sampler, covering most of Ohio and parts of Indiana. He was heavily involved in troubleshooting and diagnosing the automated soil samplers when they first hit the field back in 2011.

Now in his sixth year with Integrated Ag Services, Evan compiles crop data and information for his clients through crop consulting. He recently received his Certified Crop Adviser certification.

Evan enjoys working with numerous hardworking, successful farmers. He likes helping farmers become more profitable and more successful, increasing their bottom line. Evan shared that when things go well or badly, he gets excited or upset along with the farmer, as if it were his own operation.

Evan currently lives in the house where he grew up on a small farm located in Springfield, Ohio, with his wife, Nicole, and their lab, Willie. He currently is farming corn and soybeans on the 6 acres of land that surround their house to experiment new farming technologies to help become a better crop consultant. He mentioned he wants to put his “farmer hat” on to learn and sit on the other side of the table outside of the crop consulting. In his spare time, he enjoys doing water sports, hanging out with his friends and family, hunting, snowboarding, and traveling to see his sisters who both live on the west coast.

Mike Grand

Mike Grand, Field Service Manager

Mike grew up on a farm in Switzerland where his family grew a variety of crops and fed out steers.

Through his Swiss education, he received a diploma as an "educated" farmer by undergoing two years of apprenticeship and two years of schooling. Mike came to Ohio in 1988 to learn about U.S. farming practices, where he also met his wife, Elaine.

In 1992, Mike and Elaine started milking cows in Chuckery, Ohio. Five years later, they started a custom application business, applying manure and biosolids for large dairies and municipalities. He also applied commercial fertilizers and provided custom forage harvesting and baling to local farmers.

From his experiences in the custom application business, Mike became well-versed in precision ag equipment. This led him to providing technical support for AgLeader equipment for a local equipment dealer.

In January 2014, Mike came to work full time for Integrated Ag Services managing the AgLeader dealership and all in-field services scheduling. Mike was instrumental in the development of the IAS automated soil sampler and shares the patent on this unique system.

Mike and Elaine, married since 1990, have three children. His oldest daughter was recently married, his son is in high school and his youngest daughter is in middle school.
